For students in their final year at scuola media it’s become more and more difficult to choose their high school. The choice is difficult for many parents as well. Reforms and changes in the Italian education system have not made it any easier for them to decide. Because of budget cuts and new regulations many schools of different natures in different towns nearby have been joined together as one public institution resulting in inadequate syllabuses and mixed abilities in the classes.
