The Graded Examinations in Spoken English test candidates’ ability in listening and speaking. There are 12 grades altogether which are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference  (A1 – A2 – B1 – B2 – C1 – C2). The oral exam takes place on a single day.  Ranging from a duration of 5 minutes (Grade 1 – elementary school) to a maximum of  25 minutes for Grade 12 (near native).

They usually take place at our centre in late May, but we have hosted sessions in February and June as well. However, if you need to take GESE at any other time during the year, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll give you the information regarding the nearest examination centre (100-200 km) and examination day sessions over the next sixty days.
